British Birds - Goldfinch

The best thing about bird photography is that it opens up another world to you. You finally see the details of the birds feathers, faces, legs and it's behaviours.

A gorgeous goldfinch, mostly found in the southern parts of Britain. With it's black crown and white cheeks with a distinctive black and white tail with a yellow band down it's centre.

I used the Nikon d750 and a Nikon 200mm - 500mm telephoto zoom lens for this image.
